ALEXIS lloyd MET IRA hansen

at Sparks High School, where he acted as her very first campaign advocate in her running nomination for homecoming queen (She won! Ira remembers nobody needed convincing to vote for her after all). Since then, Alexis and Ira have worked as a committed team throughout their 44 year marriage to raise their eight children, build a plumbing business, and work as regular community contributors towards Nevada's future. Family is at the heart of Alexis's deepest motivations. As a grandmother of 24, she understands Nevada's success depends on the strength of its families and relationships, and to know Alexis's children is to know the depth of Alexis Hansen's work and her integrity as a candidate.
